Illegal Immigration

There are a number of misconceptions in the debate on illegal immigration the one most often repeated is :
"They are only coming here to do the jobs Americans wont do"
This iscompletely wrong as anyone living on a border state can tell you. Throughout the Bay Area (Northern California) illegal immigrants wait in front of stores for contractors to hire them for construction type (the trades) jobs. Many people would love to have jobs like that these jobs used to pay good wages but the increase of illegal immigration has driven out many people. Landscaping is completely dominated by illegal immigration to the point where the "contractors" (using the word loosely because most landscaping jobs do not use contractors) are illegal. Illegal immigrants are no longer doing the worst jobs ala picking fruit & vegetables. Companies are exploiting weak immigration laws in the country this needs to be stopped.
