Ding, Dong the Witch is Dead!

Well demoted at least. The Raiders offense has been non-existent this year and demoting Walsh from his coordinator position while 12 weeks too late is still welcome. I do believe that my dreams of Troy Smith are probably dead too. We will win just enough games to lose out on him.

While the lack of production is not entirely his fault, I am glad that Art can make the tough decisions. I didn't think he had it in em.

Look on the bright side - the Raiders have an incredible defense! Yes, the offense sucks. they really need a QB. Troy Smith may not be out of the question. Brady Quinn (Notre Dame) will surely be picked before him. There are also a lot of people down on Smith because of his size. While I think he will probably be a first round pick, he will probably be around when the Raiders pick (assuming they have not lost their 1st round pick in a trade or something).

I also have been hearing rumors in Mike & Mike in the Morning (ESPN Talk Radio) that the Raiders and Falcons are talking about a trade for Michael Vick. Have you been hearing anything out their?

I would definitely prefer Smith to Quinn. While he may be smaller he seems to have those ever important intangibles.

I have not heard about the Vick rumors. I for one would welcome Vick with open arms.
